Master Instructor School Security (M.I.S.S.) Program
[ILM, SHRM, and HRCI Certified] The Master Instructor School Security (M.I.S.S.) program builds knowledge, skill, confidence and capacity within schools and universities to address a wide range of security threats. The program addresses risks during normal school activities and at school events, where school buses may be targeted, or where proximity and circumstance places students on field trips in danger. The program is part of a blended solution which includes 5 methods of instruction modules to create a baseline of instructional skill. This Train the Trainer foundation is then followed by a series of ‘How2’ videos which introduce each M.I.S.S. session. Once completed M.I.S.S. instructors can then access the technical content for each session through the RSM Knowledge Vault system. This resource library includes Lesson Guides, PowerPoints and other training aids for each of the M.I.S.S. thematic areas. This program is certified by the Institute of Leadership Management (ILM) and comes with Human Resource credits for HR professionals from HRCI and SHRM. HR PHR Credits (Functional Area 3): This course supports Human Resource professionals in developing and selecting employee training programs, whether instructor capacity building and leadership knowledge and skills, or staff level training regimes. The course helps develop, implement and evaluate performance management programs and procedures, including performance appraisals. The training aids with career development, training program development techniques, facilitation techniques mentoring and coaching strategies, and the techniques to asses training program effectiveness.
