The individual at the point of identifying or responding to a threat, whether a Church staff member or a member of the congregation, must be able to effectively communicate time-critical information. This is vital to the success, or failure, of incident management. By understanding the requirement for timely, accurate and concise reporting, then Churches will be better placed to share information with Church leadership and first responders in a confident and effective manner, allowing the Church leadership team to implement knowledge-led decisions which match the pace of unfolding events.
