CL016_English: Personal Safety and Security for Missions Abroad

The personal safety and security for missions abroad course includes travel preparation, personal safety and security tips, human-made threats (including active shooter and armed aggressors) and natural risks and emergency responses, secure land-based travel, hotel and guest house security, health and hygiene and cultural awareness training, as well as a short element covering gender safety and security. This course relates to those deploying on mission work to new or challenged environments where safety and security issues are present, as well as those traveling to more benign environments where crime and terrorist may occur.
