CL007_English: Managing Active Shooter and Armed Aggressor Threats

Church management teams are responsible for understanding the potential threats from active shooter and armed aggressors. While a remote risk, concentrations of staff in church buildings or activity areas present a risk to both the congregation and Church volunteers, and to the wider Church as a whole from direct or indirect threats from lone shooters, gangs and criminals, and in rare instances from terrorist groups. By having the knowledge and skills by which to prepare for and prevent, respond to and manage, and then support the Crisis Management Leadership Team of the Church in transitioning and recovering from such crisis events people, Church infrastructure and assets, church activities and the reputation of the Church will be best protected. This training brings together Church management teams into a unified and mutually supportive approach to protecting people and the Church. PLEASE REMEMBER - Some modules offer language subtitles.
